Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Bags French Honor

It seems that the awards are raining on Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. After getting Padma Shree the green eyed Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has yet another award in her awards kitty. Aishwarya has recently been conferred by the French authorities to receive the prestigious French award, ‘Officer Dan Ordre Des Arts Et Des Lettres’ but unfortunately the actress has been unable to enjoy the awards due to her father’s (Krishna Raj Rai) bad health.

Recently Aishwarya had declared that she will not be receiving the award until her father gets in good health. The second highest civilian award is a big thing but Ash says that ‘it will be a glorious moment but not without my father’ and now since her father is well she has informed the French government to prepare for the ceremony.

Before Ash, the only person in Bollywood to receive this award is Shahrukh Khan and now it’s the lady’s turn to enjoy it.

World’s Top 99 Most Desirable Women: Katrina Kaif

The stunning diva of Bollywood ‘Katrina Kaif’ is flying high these days. The gorgeous lady has made it to the AskMen list of the ‘Top 99 Most Desirable Women in the World’. The list contains celebrities from all over the world. More than 10 Million votes were cast after a month long voting period and the ladies were voted by the readers of AskMen.Com.

Beyond sex appeal and beauty the ladies were chosen on the basis of intelligence, humor, charisma and ambition. Among Indian beauties Katrina is at number 48 while the blue eyed girl of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is at number 60. In 2008 Aish was at number 28.

Among the Top Desirable Women in the list Eva Mendes won the number one title followed by Megan Fox at number two and Marisa Miller is at number three.

Akshay And Aishwarya Awarded With Padma Shree

The 60th year of Indian republic is a proud day for Bollywood. 26 Jan 2009, it’s a day when two immensely talented actors of Bollywood, Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were awarded the top civilian honors, The Padma Shree. They awards were given by the government of India.

Aishwarya who has now become the face of Indian cinema has bagged numerous awards in her career and now she has added another honor in her pool while Akshay Kumar has done a lot of hard work to make a place for himself in the film industry. With these two the legendary actress and well known item girl ‘Helen’ was also given the Padma Shree.

Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar to pair again

The new king of Bollywood Akshay Kumar and queen of millions of hearts and talented sultry actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are ready to set the screen on fire together for the 2nd time after action-packed flick Khaki. This sizzling merge is for Vipul Shah’s forthcoming flick “Action Replay”.
Akshay is vipul’s favorite actor without any doubt and Vipul casted Katrina in two of his biggest hits ‘Namastey London’ and ‘Singh is Kinng’ but this time instead of Kat he opted for Ash. Akshay and Vipul are jointly co-producing the film. The film will portray the era of1950. The shooting is expected to begin in the start of February next year.
Action Replay promises to be an interesting watch and we all are waiting to watch the pair.

No more Aish for Ashwarya Rai

Big B was very happy with his bahu Ash. The reason was the feng shui touch she gave to their house. It does effect for a while, that’s why they got the deal of Reliance Big Entertainment of Rs. 1500 crore. But now the effect seems to be fading because soon the contract of brand ambassador of flying machine is going to finish and the company does not taking any more interest to renew it. also Ash who has been the grand ambassador of Nakshtra since 2000, her stars are not attached any more with Nakshtra, the company chose the new catty girl Katrina as their new godess.

It is said that Salman has a secret hand in this big swing. He had helped Ash to get this deal, now he is giving it to his new girlfriend.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been the face of Nakshatra diamonds brand for quite a while but all that is likely to change now.

Apperently Ash is being replaced by Katreena Kaif. Buzz is that Katrina is been offered the position of the new brand ambassador in the wake of her soaring popularity. The sexy, bubbly and cheerful actress is yet to sign on the dotted line though.

This comes as a big blow to Ash, not only because she was doing well with Nakshatra, but because her positin is likely to be taken over by the present girl-friend of her ex-beau Salman Khan.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Suffering from Measles

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the most gorgeous and heart capturing woman on the earth is suffering from German measles (Rubella infection), a viral infection characterized by fever, swollen and painful lymph nodes, and a runny nose.

Aishwarya Rai's manager Hari Singh has said that she will not be available for about 10 to 15 days for any promo or shooting as she is suffering from a bout of fever and is advised total rest by the doctor.

He confirmed the news that Aish has signed Robot and another production by Mani Ratnam, and also that she will take a 2-month break from Shankar's Robot when filming for Mani Ratnam's film.

In UTV Motion Picture’s upcoming movie on Pakistan’s former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutoo, Aishwarya Rai is supposed to play the lead role. UTV CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor said, “We are in talks with her and it’s too early to comment on the project.” UTV officials are talking with Pakistani officials and Benazir Bhutto’s family members.

Ash’s bucket is full of big projects and she has more work then ever these days. She isn’t even able to give dates for Shankar’s mega-project Robot with superstar Rajnikant. You can imagine how busy she is now-a-days. Though she somewhat matches the looks of Benazri, but real thing is to copy her way of talking, specially her Urdu accent, and body language. I think this movie on Benazir is going to be her test. It’s not easy to portray a personality like Benazir Bhutto. Let’s see how far our Ash can take this role.
