'Golmaal' Has Become A Brand: Ajay Devgan

Actor Ajay Devgan is flying really high these days after his film has become one of the biggest hits of year 2008.

After playing central character in two highly successful comic capers- “Golmaal” and it’s recently released sequel ‘Golmaal Returns’. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan says the title has almost become a brand itself. Though he was expecting a good response but the reactions to the film are ‘exceptional’. He says: ‘It feels great to see the kind of business Golmaal Returns has done in its first week. It has broken records and has become one of the biggest hits of the year.
The actor was in the capital with wife Kajol to flag off a special senior citizen marathon for Harmony magazine Sunday.

‘Golmaal Returns’ released on 29th October with Ajay and Kareena Kapoor in the lead role and paired opposite each other. Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Celina Jaitley, Amrita Arora, Anjana Sukhani and Paresh Rawal are other members among the film’s cast.

In the first week of the release ‘Golmaal Returns’ earned Rs. 4.5 million in the domestic market and Rs 1 million internationally.
Director Rohit Shetty has announced the third part of ‘Golmaal’ after seeing the spectacular response of its sequel and he is very positive about the 3rd film.

Right now Ajay is busy shooting for his upcoming films- Vipul Shah’s “London Dreams”, “Toonpur ka Superhero” and Prakash Jha’s “Rajniti”.

Kajol’s cameo in Haal-e-dil

Nowadays Kajol is being seen in the trailers of Kumar Mangat's film Haal-e-dil. According to Filmybolgs.com sources, Haal-e-dil is Mangat's daughter Amita's debut film. Ajay and Kajol are extremely close to Mangat and so, when he requested Kajol to play a cameo in the film, she immediately agreed.

It is the known fact that Kajol only works with big banners like Yash Raj n Dharma Productions, but being close to Mangat she played a cameo in his film that is short but important. Ise kehte hai sachchi dosti!
