Tabu : The Next Producer

Turning producer from actor has become a common phenomenon in the film industry these days. After the success of Pandurangadu, in which Tabu played a villainous immoral woman, she has decided to produce a film very soon. The gorgeous actress has decided to concentrate on her native Hyderabad and produce Telugu films in collaboration with UTV Motion Pictures.

Tabu has had a great run in Bollywood, but decided to move base to Hyderabad and has done quite a number of movies in Telugu, like Idi Sangati. In spite of being from the senior 'crop' of heroines, she has plenty of oomph to beat younger actresses hands down.
Her maiden movie which is now in the pre-production discussion stage will mostly be a small budget or 'multiplex' movie.

Gracy Singh in "Gandhi Se Pehle Gandhi"

Remember the simple girl who played Aamir's love interest in Lagaan? Or the vivacious doctor who had Munna drooling all over her in Munnabhai MBBS? It's the 'girl next door' beautiful Gracy we are talking about. Gracy Singh still continues to be the simple girl that she used to be, away from the media glare. The girl sure seems to be enjoying her earthy roles and is now all set to play the role of a tribal girl!

This is for her next film, directed by Iqbal Durrani 'Gandhi Se Pehle Gandhi', which is based on a novel. Gracy says about her role, "I'm very happy that I'm doing this film. It's a very nice and challenging script and role. Unfortunately that's all I can say right now because I have signed a contract and can't talk about the film." Well, anyway Gracy has always let her work do the talking so we want to hear about you soon… Gracy darling!!!

Diya Mirza enjoys being a bad girl

Actress Diya Mirza, known for her good girl image in Bollywood movies, is currently enjoying being bad in Suparn Verma's film “Acid Factory”.

Diya is the only woman in the entire script and plays a girl who is locked up in a factory with four men with no way to run out. She is being made to do the most impossible stunts, but the actress doesn't mind and happy doing all of them.

“What I enjoy is being one of the boys. I'm doing everything that the boys are being made to do. And that includes all the stunts,” says Diya, “After playing dainty, utterly feminine roles I'm enjoying being put on a harness, dangling from ropes, jumping from heights, kicking and punching. In spite of my dainty image, I've always been a tomboy.” she added.

What Diya enjoys even more is being mean and rude. “My character is bad through and through. She does not want to justify herself or apologize for whatever she is doing…” Diya is just enjoying the role. Let’s see we enjoy it or not?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Suffering from Measles

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the most gorgeous and heart capturing woman on the earth is suffering from German measles (Rubella infection), a viral infection characterized by fever, swollen and painful lymph nodes, and a runny nose.

Aishwarya Rai's manager Hari Singh has said that she will not be available for about 10 to 15 days for any promo or shooting as she is suffering from a bout of fever and is advised total rest by the doctor.

He confirmed the news that Aish has signed Robot and another production by Mani Ratnam, and also that she will take a 2-month break from Shankar's Robot when filming for Mani Ratnam's film.

Well, Aish get well very soon…… everybody is waiting for you…

RAKHI SAWANT : THE JALWA QUEEN

After months of competition, hard work, perseverance and heart capturing performances, Rakhi Sawant and her Chiller Party won the reality show 'Yeh Hai Jalwa' - on 9x entertainment channel.

At last, the drama queen Rakhi Sawant won the reality show by leaving behind the finalists Ronit Roy & Hussain. Rakhi and her chiller party had children below 10 years of age. Hussain was crowned as the first runner-up while Ronit ended up being the second runner-up who was the stronger contender for Rakhi.

But Rakhi's real competition came from Hussain who did all he could to put up best show for the audiences. In the end it was Rakhi all the way… finally she has something to cheer and nothing to crib. The grand finale of "yeh hai jalwa" was a grand affair and the result was announced by gorgeous Rani Mukherjee. She also distributed awards to the participants and promoted her upcoming movie "thoda pyaar thoda magic".

But the strangest thing is that there was no controversy during the show. Now tell me, isn’t it sheer disappointment for the viewers like me who saw it for queer controversies of Rakhi and got nothing at the end.
